Repair is a form of authorship.

Architecture shaped by weather, use and the passing of time.
Places that become more themselves with time.
Selected work ↘AERON is an imagined European architecture office. The idea is simple: make less, make it last, and make everyday life feel more considered.
We work with what a place already knows: wind, shade, memory, soil and the small rituals that turn a building into somewhere to return to.
House K sits low in the Zeeland dunes, gathering its rooms around a sheltered court. Its circular arrival wall turns a harsh prevailing wind into a slower sequence: gravel, water, timber, warmth.

Materials are chosen for repairability, thermal comfort, tactility and the way they age—not for a passing image. We like things that record their use gracefully.

A palette should feel like it grew from the site, not arrived in a courier box.
Small observations from our ongoing research into atmosphere, restoration and the everyday.

Softness belongs in a hard building.

Building the smallest possible room.
Field pavilion / research
We keep the studio compact so ideas stay close to decisions. The same people who visit the site develop the plan, test the details and see the work through.
Every project begins with a site, a question and a very good conversation.
